I have been painting portraits of fruit and vegetables since I decided to paint a lettuce leaf for my Art O-Level in school. I like to use both natural and artificial light to give two shadows, making each one “pop.” My dining room is lined with these portraits as if they are relatives looking down in an old baronial hall.
